Community Guidelines
These Guidelines set the standards for safely logging emotions, respecting others, and connecting on SLODAY.
1. Purpose and scope of application
SLODAY is a space where we can record our individual emotions and moments, and share the stories we choose to share in a respectful manner. These community guidelines guide users to the standards they must adhere to so that everyone can record and connect safely on SLODAY.
These Guidelines apply to all content and activity on the Service, including profiles, public Vibes, photos, videos, audio, emoji reactions, comments, replies, likes, First Greetings, chats, user-created quizzes, card games, music and location information, referral-code sharing, AI-generated results, and earning or using Slo.
Vibes set to public can be viewed by other users in Vibe archives and releases even after expiration. For records you no longer wish to share, change them to private in the privacy settings for each vibe.
In order to share vibes fairly, viewing Finder, messages, and other users' vibes and profiles will be restricted while there are no recent public or unexpired vibes that can be displayed on the Finder map.
2. Basic principles of the community
- Respect your own and other people’s emotions, identities, experiences, and boundaries.
- Before posting, double-check the intended audience and any location information.
- Do not share another person’s personal information or private story without their consent.
- If you encounter uncomfortable or dangerous activity, use the reporting or blocking features instead of confronting it directly.
- Comply with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Location-Based Service Terms, and applicable laws.
3. Expressing emotions and caring for each other
We can express happy or peaceful emotions as well as difficult emotions such as loneliness, sadness, or anger. Recording your emotions honestly is not in itself a violation of the guidelines.
- Do not ridicule or devalue the feelings of other users.
- Do not give unsolicited advice, repeatedly contact someone, or pressure anyone into a relationship.
- Although there is no daily limit to the number of first greetings sent, you should not repeatedly send unsolicited first greetings to the same person or an unspecified number of people.
- Do not use emotional expressions to insult or threaten others.
- Content that glorifies or encourages self-harm or suicide, provides specific instructions, or asks others to do so is not permitted.
- If you are in immediate danger, you should be aware that SLODAY is not an emergency rescue, counseling or medical service, and should call a local emergency number or specialized agency for help.
4. Unacceptable content and behavior
The examples above are representative types, and even if not on the list, content and actions that seriously harm the safety of other users or the community may be restricted.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Harassment/threats | Insults, bullying, repeated unwanted contact, threats, stalking, and doxxing. |
| Hate, Discrimination | Inciting degradation, exclusion, or violence based on protected characteristics such as race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or religion. |
| Sexual content/exploitation | Explicit sexual acts/exposure, request/transaction of sexual services, non-consensual sexual content, sexual coercion, exploitation/human trafficking, distribution or threat of distribution of private images of others |
| Harm to Children and Adolescents | Content that sexually objectifies or exploits minors, grooming, or inducing dangerous encounters |
| Violence/dangerous behavior | Content that contains specific threats of violence, atrocities, propaganda of terrorism or extremism, or encourages the performance of dangerous acts. |
| illegal activity | Trading in illegal goods or services, instructions for committing crimes, fraud, account takeover, or bypassing security measures |
| Impersonation/deception | Impersonation of another person or entity, false authentication, or deception using a fabricated identity or relationship |
| Spam/manipulation | Repeated advertising, indiscriminate messaging, phishing, malicious links, or artificial manipulation of reactions or visibility |
| rights infringement | Infringing upon the rights of others, such as copyright or trademark rights, or reposting content without consent. |
5. Personal information and location safety
- Do not disclose another person's name, contact information, address, school/workplace, real-time location, account information, ID, financial information, or private conversations without consent.
- Check your public location and venue selection to ensure that sensitive locations such as your home, school, or workplace are not revealed in public emotion records.
- Safe public location is intended only to reduce the likelihood of direct exposure of your actual location, but does not ensure that your location is completely unidentifiable.
- Do not estimate, collect, or share another user’s movement patterns or regular activity area, and do not pressure anyone into meeting offline.
- If other people are included in the photo or video, confirm the necessary consent for filming and disclosure.
6. Protection of minors
- After July 14, 2026, new members must be 16 years of age or older, regardless of country or region. The existing user conversion standards in the Terms of Service will apply to accounts created before that.
- You must not solicit sexual conversations, private images, personal information, money, or offline meetings from minors.
- If you come across any content or activity that may put minors at risk, please report it immediately.
- In cases that seriously threaten the safety of children and adolescents, the Company may take necessary measures such as deleting content, restricting accounts, and reporting to relevant authorities.
7. Authentic activities
- You must not mislead people into thinking that you are any other individual, Sloday Labs, public agency or entity.
- You must not manipulate, rent, or transfer voice/face authentication or its results, or use other people's authentication data.
- You may not use bots, automated tools, multiple accounts, or organized activities to manipulate popularity, reactions, reports, or relationship levels.
- Earning or using Slo improperly through false Vibes, reactions, or comments, multiple accounts, collusion, repeated creation and deletion, or exploitation of errors or vulnerabilities is prohibited.
- Self-referrals, repeated registrations to the same device, deceptive distribution of referral codes, or using multiple accounts to unfairly receive rewards for referring a friend are not permitted.
- Promotional or sponsored content, and content in which the poster has a financial interest, must be clearly disclosed to avoid misleading users.
8. Responsibility and rights for content
- Users must only use content that they have the right to post or transmit.
- When using another person's copyrighted work, likeness, trademark, or personal information, you must obtain the necessary permission.
- Even if your use is permitted by law, such as quotation or parody, you must not cause harm to others by distorting the source and context.
- Rights infringement reports can be submitted to [email protected] by providing information that identifies the target content and a description of the rights relationship.
9. Reporting and Blocking
- SLODAY applies a zero-tolerance policy to objectionable content and abusive users.
- Please report any profiles or public records that appear to violate our guidelines using the app's report function or to [email protected].
- In the app, users may report profiles and Vibes for spam or promotion, harassment or hate speech, sexual or offensive content, impersonation or privacy violations, or other reasons. When selecting Other, users should provide enough detail for Sloday Labs to review the report.
- Duplicate reports for the same target are not accepted. Users can review the reason and other details of their existing report in the app.
- Users who do not want contact with a particular person may use the hide or block feature. Depending on the Service feature, blocking limits that person’s content visibility and ability to interact.
- Blocking immediately removes that user's content from the feed and submits a report to the moderation team.
- When submitting a report, provide, where possible, the reported account or content, when the issue occurred, why it may violate these Guidelines, and relevant screenshots to assist the review.
- The reporter’s identity will not be disclosed to the reported person except when required by applicable law or necessary to protect safety.
- Reporting in good faith will not be grounds for disadvantage, but repeated false reporting for the purpose of harassment, retaliation, or manipulation of sanctions may be restricted.
10. Review and Enforcement Actions
Sloday Labs can check for violations of the guidelines through reports, safety signals within the service, and automated and manual review to the extent necessary. The review process considers the context of the content, potential for harm, repeatability, the user's previous violation history, and applicable laws.
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours of receipt.
- Violating content is removed, and users responsible for serious or repeated violations are suspended or permanently terminated.
- Reduce, hide or delete content
- Temporary or permanent limitations on certain features
- Warning, account suspension or termination of service agreement
- Record retention to prevent urgent risks and fulfill legal obligations
- Report or cooperate with relevant agencies when required by relevant laws or when there is imminent danger to life or body.
11. Notice of Enforcement Actions and Appeals
- Where practicable, the Company will inform the user of the principal reasons for and scope of an enforcement action. Some information may be withheld when necessary for urgent safety measures, legal restrictions, the integrity of an investigation, or the protection of another person’s rights.
- A user who disagrees with an enforcement action may request a review by emailing [email protected] within a reasonable period after receiving notice of the action.
- A review request should include information sufficient to identify the account, the action being challenged, and the reasons for the appeal. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
- After reviewing any additional information and the full context, the Company may uphold, modify, or lift the action.
12. Urgent danger and call for help
- If you believe someone’s life or physical safety is in immediate danger, do not wait for an in-app report to be reviewed; contact the local emergency number or appropriate authorities immediately.
- SLODAY is not a substitute for emergency rescue, medical care, psychological counseling, or crime reporting.
- Separate from emergency reports, reporting related profiles or content to SLODAY will help prevent further spread within the service and enable account review.
13. Changes in guidelines
- The Company may change these Guidelines to reflect changes in service features, community environment, or relevant laws.
- If there are important changes, the effective date and major changes will be notified in advance through the service or website.
- The revised Guidelines apply from the separately announced effective date.
